Josef Somr

Josef Somr in 2008 Josef Somr (born 14 April 1934 in Vracov) is a Czech actor. He played the role of the libidinous train dispatcher Hubička in Jiří Menzel's Oscar-winning 1966 film ''Closely Watched Trains'' (or ''Closely Observed Trains'' in the UK). He also starred in the film ''Poslední propadne peklu'' under director Ludvík Ráža in 1982. In 2014, Somr received a lifetime achievement award at the Thalia Awards for his theatre work.
